Is There Life After Brain Injury?

For the individual experiencing the effects of an Acquired Brain Injury. This workshop will offer information and strategies to assist those who have had the life-changing experience of an acquired brain injury. This is a psycho-educational workshop, not psychotherapy or counseling. Participants will not be required to speak unless they wish to.

Helping with the Grief of Chronic Conditions

Chronic conditions such as Acquired & Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson's, MS, Alzheimer Disease, etc. - mean many unwanted changes and loss to people affected by their specific condition; as well as those who love them.
In this workshop, we will explore the process of adjustment to chronic conditions and working with complicated aspects such as guilt, various practical helping strategies and suggestions to prevent helper/caregiver burnout.
