Call for Abstracts

The fifth biennial Alberta Brain Injury Conference will be held in Calgary, Alberta; Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Calgary. The primary focus of the conference will be on Survivors, Families, Service Delivery and Innovations in Research, and the Implications for Programming; prevention of traumatic brain injury will also be featured. Abstract submissions are now completed and we have a full roster of fantastic speakers planned for the conference.

Types of Sessions:

There will be three primary types of sessions offered as part of the conference:

  1. Service providers
  2. Individuals with brain injury, their family members/caregivers
  3. Researchers in the Brain Injury field to present their recent findings and prevention initiatives.
